What We Believe
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible Word of God (Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:15-17).
We believe that there is One God; eternally existent as The Father, Son and Holy Ghost (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 John 5:7).
We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; Titus 2:13)
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance: faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ (Mark 16:16; Hebrews 9:22).
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation (John 3:3, 5).
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in the answer to believing prayer (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24).
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world (2 Corinthians 6:17-7:1)

Meet our Leader:
Bishop Hankerson
Bishop Elijah H. Hankerson III is one of the 12 Apostles (General Board member) of the Church Of God In Christ, Inc.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Evangel University), Master of Arts (Assemblies of God Theological Seminary) and a Doctorate of Divinity (Academy of Theology). He has been mentored by some great leaders: the late Dr. Elijah H. Hankerson I, the late Bishop T. L. Westbrook, the late Bishop E. Harris Moore, Bishop R. J. Ward and Presiding Bishop Emeritus Charles E. Blake, Sr. Not only does he serve with Presiding Bishop J. Drew Sheard, but has adopted Bishop Sheard as his family’s pastor.
He travels extensively, preaching the Gospel and has 29 years of pastoral experience and has been in the ministry for 35 years. He is the Senior Pastor and founder of the Life Center International C.O.G.I.C. of Saint Louis, MO.
